Marvin Olo Jones III of Fall River, age 55, passed away July 15, 2012. He was the son of the late Marvin O. and Betty (Conboy) Jones. Marvin was a retired forklift operator at Quaker Fabrics, a Viet Nam era U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 10th Special Forces Group Airborne Division, Ft. Devens with the rank of Specialist 4 and a member of the DAV Commander Club.
Marvin is survived by siblings Selina Marie McFadin of Pensacola, FL, John J. Jones (wife Donna) of Dartmouth, Muriel Jones of New Bedford and Robert Jones Sr. of Fall River; step children Angela & Mark Costa, Jennifer & Jessica McElroy all of Fall River several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
