Margaret Mary (Candage) Ginivan passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 24, 2012. She was 90 years old.
Margaret was the devoted wife of the late David F. Ginivan. She was the beloved mother of Margaret Brennan and her husband Joseph of Stoneham, Wiliiam Ginivan and his wife Pamela of Everett, David Ginivan and his wife Cynthia of Chelsea, Rosemary Nelson of Somerville and and Martin Ginivan and his wife Karen Wacks of Peabody. Margaret was the dear sister of Helen Sullivan and her husband Thomas of Belmont and the late Solon Candage and his late wife Mary. She was the cherished “Grammy” of 12 grandchildren and “Gigi” of 17 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, July 27th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem St. Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday, July 26th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
