Obituary

Rosaire J. Labrecque, 85, of Bean Road, Errol, NH passed away on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Berlin on July 26, 1926 the son of Albert and Marie Louise (Taillon ) Labrecque and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II and owned Labrecque Brothers Logging. Rosaire was an avid hunter and fisherman and really enjoyed his grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW White Mountain Post #2520, the American Legion Post #36 in Berlin and the DAV.

Members of the family include his wife Florence (Tremblay) Labrecque of Errol, NH; children Raymond Labrecque and wife Carolyn of Errol, NH, Jeannine Larin and husband Pierre of Berlin, NH, Robert Labrecque and companion Lise of Berlin, NH, Lena Daniels and husband Kevin of Shelburne, NH and Ronald Labrecque and wife Judi of Irmo, SC; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother Norman Labrecque and sisters Beatrice, Theresa, Yvette, Pauline and Jeanne. He was predeceased by a son Richard and several brothers and sisters.

Rosaire was a favored, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, generous with his time, tools and fishing gear. If there was work to be done, he was in the middle of it, whether it was his work, or yours. He has given his family the example of a legacy worth living up to.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 28, 2012 at 10 am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Pius Cemetery in Errol. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
