EAST FREETOWN … Alberta M. French, 52, of East Freetown passed away at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Pauline (Baraby) French DeSouza Turner and the late Nicholas French and Aldertio DeSouza. She had lived in East Freetown for the last 26 years.
She was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church, East Freetown and a member of the Cerebral Palsy Association. She attended the Paul Dever’s School in Taunton.
Survivors include 6 sisters: Cheryl Guilmette and her husband Joseph, Gail DeSouza, Roberta Ferreza, Joanne Bourgeois, Ginger Roies, Joyce Turner, 5 brothers: Paul French and his wife Cheryl, Allen French and his wife Pam, William Turner, Robert Turner, and Wayne Turner, many nieces and nephews. She had several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Her extended family of caretakers. She was the sister of the late Aldertio DeSouza Jr and Nicholas French Jr.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 11AM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday 9 – 11 AM. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
