Tonino ‘Tony’ Aceto, 66 of Medford died Monday after a long illness in the Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA.
Born in Italy he lived in Medford for many years and was the son of the late Assunta (Ferrante) and Emidio Aceto.
Tonino was an X-Ray Welder Foreman for PX Engineering in South Boston for 20 years.
Former husband of Maria (Marcantonio) Aceto. Devoted father of Barbara Aceto of Everett, Maurizio Aceto of Melrose, and Stefania Aceto of Medford. Loving grandfather of Arianna, Daniel, Ryan and Neva. Brother of Anna, Maria and Lucia Aceto all of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
