Mary Elizabeth Kenny, a resident of Medford, died at the Sancta Maria Nursing Center in Cambridge on Monday, July 23, 2012. She was 76 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 8, 1935, she was a beloved daughter of the late James F. and Madeline M. (Kennedy) Kenny. Mary was employed by New England Telephone in Boston as a supervisor for more than 40 years and was als a communicant so St. Joseph Church in Medford.
She was the devoted sister of Dr. Gerard F. and his wife Elizabeth Kenny of Medford, Madelyn M. and her husband James M. Brown of Medford and the late James F. Kenny. Mary was also the sister-in-law of Carolyn Kenny of CA and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass was celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, Friday, July 27, 2012, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held in The Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
