Virginia K. (Knight) Gartside, 88, of Salem, NH passed away Sunday, July 22nd at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA with her family by her side.
Virginia was born in Methuen, MA the son of the late Lillian (Pybus) and Frank Knight. She graduated from Woodbury High School in 1938.
She was predeceased by her husband George and her son Wayne.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey Gartside and his wife Mary Ann of Pelham, NH, grandchildren Jeffrey and Carly Gartside, Karen and John Chongrus, Jennifer and Chris Boynton and Lisa Gartside, great grandchildren Dylan and Tyler Gartside, Alex and George Chongrus, Logan, Lily and Chase Boynton and David and Zach Pintal. She touched all of our lives in special ways. She will be missed by her family and her extended family at Salemhaven.
Funeral services are private. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
