HONE, JAMES A., 86, born in Donegal, Ireland of Fort Myers, FL formerly of West New York, NJ died on Friday, July 20, 2012. Beloved husband of Nellie (nee McGinty). Devoted father of James & his wife Janelle, Mary & her husband Damian, Helen & her husband George, Kathleen & her husband George, Daniel & his wife Evelyn, Margaret & her husband Scott, John & his wife Patricia, Charles and Susan. Dear brother of Kathleen Huston. Loving grandfather of Luke, Kimberly, Erin, Victoria, Hannah, Colin, Christina, Ryan, Griffin and John Patrick.
James faithfully and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. Funeral Service from the Funeral Home at 9:00 AM Thursday, and then to St. Anastasia RC Church, Teaneck, for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
