EAST BRIDGEWATER - Florence A. (Halloran) Kenney, 80, of East Bridgewater, died Monday at Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John J. Kenney.
Born April 18, 1924 in Scranton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Roz and Mary (Bonho) Halloran.
She had lived in East Bridgewater for the past five years, coming from Ringwood, N.J.
Mrs. Kenney was a line worker for the General Hose and Coupling Co. in New Jersey for 20 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sharon) Sexton of East Bridgewater; two sons, John J. Kenney Jr. of Hewitt, N.J., and Kevin Kenney of Netcong, N.J.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
