Joseph Allen Hines, 65, of Clarksville, TN, died on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born on November 28, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph McClure Hines and Diana Spatola Hines.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Joseph was an U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a retired librarian at Ft. Campbell, KY. He was a member of the VFW and the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hines of Clarksville, TN; four sons, Joseph W. Hines of Vanleer, TN, Robert Hines of Waymart, PA, John Hines of Norfolk, VA, and Anthony Hines of Clarksville, TN; five daughters, Elisa Hines of Clarksville, TN, Elena Edmonds of Clarksville, TN, Marianne Hines of Winston-Salem, NC, Jennifer Hines of Clarksville, TN, and Kristen Hines of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, John Hines of Lyles, TN and Jack Hines of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Judy Holloway of Hixson, TN and Joyce Gilliland of Sale Creek, TN; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Hunt, John Hines, Dennis Hines, Jack Hines, David Edmonds, and Greg Stone.
