Mrs. Elsie C. Wright died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in the Water Valley Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born March 1, 1906 in the Springdale Community in Yalobusha County to the late Sarah and Matt Hall. Elsie was a homemaker who loved to sew, cook and visit with family and friends. When she was young she loved to travel and piece quilts. She was an animal lover, especially her cats.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 pm Friday, July 20, 2012 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, and services are planned for 12 noon Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Amos Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Yalobusha County with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Hall and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Mamie Harris and 6 brothers, Leander, Leland, Sonny, Johnny C, Starling and Epsie Hall.
