George Kayajan, 76, of Salem, NH, died Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
He was born and educated in Middleboro, MA. He was a resident of Salem for the past 50 years.
George was a self employed hairdresser, working for Dennis’ Beauty Shop in North Andover, MA. He had previously taught hairdressing at Leon Amandula School in Madison, NY, the LaBaron School in Haverhill, MA, and the Fazio School in Lawrence, MA. He attended the First Church Congregation in Methuen, MA. George was very artistic he loved gardening and was an excellent floral designer.
He was the son of the late Ardavast and Alice (Garabedian) Kayajan. He was predeceased by his brother Ardavast Kayajan, Jr.
He is survived by his sisters: Bertha Kayajan of Salem, NH
Peggy and her husband Hrair Najarian of Salem, NH
4 Nieces: Cheryl, Donna, Lisa Najarian, and Carol Najarian and her husband Bill Paggioli
2 Great Nephews: Zachary George and Alex
Private funeral and graveside services were held at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleboro, MA.
