Nellie Paulk Lindsey, age 76, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. Mrs. Lindsey was born on November 11, 1935, in Atkinson County, GA to the late Homer Paulk and Ethel Baisden Paulk.
Survivors include: her daughter, Diana Lindsey-Wolfe, of Douglas, GA; two sons, David (Denise) Lindsey, of Douglas, GA and Jeff (Linda) Lindsey, of Douglas, GA; two sisters, Carolyn Mancil, of Nicholls, GA and Geraldine Paulk, of Douglas, GA; seven grandchildren, David Lindsey II, Danny Lindsey, Dana Mayo, Amber McLean, Lindsey Wolfe, Ashley Lindsey, and Caitlin Wolfe; six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son Marvin Clyde Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July, 19, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service were held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Wilkes officiating. Interment followed at Salem Church Cemetery.
