Ronald “Ronnie” Kopka, Jr., 20, of Snake Hill Road died Sunday at UMass Medical Center, Worcester, MA.
Born in Providence, beloved son of Ronald and Donna M. (Robitaille) Kopka of Glocester, he lived in Glocester his whole life.
Ronnie was a laborer for Ocean State Sealcoating. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved basketball and sporting events.
He is also survived by his sisters, Jessica Diane and Amanda Lee Kopka, both of Glocester; his paternal grandparents, Vincent and Janet (Petteruti) Kopka of Glocester and his maternal grandmother, Lucy (L’Europa) Robitaille of Glocester. He was the grandson of the late Donald Robitaille.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10am in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
