JONES, Thomas J. "Tom", Sr., 80, passed away July 16, 2012 at Christopher East. He retired from Lab Corp as a courier and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley A. (Bowman) Jones; children, Theresa Rainbolt (Mike), Thomas Jones, Jr. (Suzanne), Barbie Mosier (Jeff), and Joseph Jones (Angela); step children, Cheryl Kramer, Carol Lloyd, Lisa Collins, and Mark Kappel; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:30am Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be 2-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
