John A. Lachapelle, Jr., 44, of Tiverton, RI died Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was the husband of Kimmy (Dubois) Lachapelle.
Born in Fall River, he was son of John A. Lachapelle, Sr. and Ann D. (Cavaca) Lachapelle of Tiverton. Mr. Lachapelle was a carbon fiber technician for Hall Inc. in Bristol, RI. An avid NASCAR enthusiast, he also enjoyed motorcycle riding. He will best be remembered as having a big heart of gold and for his many acts of community service.
Including his wife and parents, survivors include a daughter: Courtney Ann Lachapelle of Tiverton; a sister: Rebecca A. “Becky” Lachapelle of Tiverton; mother-in-law: Cecelia (Rocha) Dubois; his Velcro dog: Sydney; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Amicable Congregational Church, 3736 Main Rd., Tiverton at 11:00 A.M.
