WEBSTER – Daniel B. Meagher, age 51, of 14 Stoughton Avenue, died Saturday, May 8, at home after an illness.
He leaves a son, Jesse B. Meagher, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Japan, and his wife Vanessa; 2 daughters, Shana L. Meagher and Kallie R. Meagher; his father, Donald T. Meagher; his mother, Estelle D. (Rouleau) Seachrist and stepfather, Wayne H. Seachrist; a brother, David T. Meagher, all of Webster; 2 sisters, Marilyn E. Kokocinski of Webster and Donna M. Lagano of Oakley, CA; 2 grandchildren, Trevor Meagher and Teyha Meagher; his second wife, Bonnie (Millette) Meagher of Webster who cared for him during his illness; his first wife, Christine (Scarglia) Carruthers of Webster; and several loving nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester and attended Bartlett High School.
Mr. Meagher was employed as a crane operator for Leo Construction Contractors for 30 years, retiring because of illness. He loved his work in construction, and was a good friend to all.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 11, from the Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, with a service at 11:00 AM in Emanuel Lutheran Church, 7 First Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 11, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, at the funeral home.
