George H. Archibald, age 90, of Chester, NH, passed away Wednesday July 11th at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born and educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts, the son of the late George and Annie (Hatfield) Archibald. George graduated from Lawrence High School.
Following graduation from High School, he joined with the US Navy during World War II and served honorably in the Pacific Theater. George was a retired plumber from Andover Plumbing and Heating and retired in 1984. He was also an avid reader.
He is predeceased by his son George R. Archibald
George is survived by his wife Mildred (Marchlik) Archibald, daughter-in-law Jeanne Archibald and grandchildren Derek and Amanda Archibald as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were private for the family. Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH has care of the arrangements.
