RAY, DORIS JEAN (EMMONS), 77, of Louisville, passed away July 13, 2012 at Norton Hosparus Pavilion.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, James Pryce Ray; children, Cathy York, Karen Anderson, Brenda Palmer (Keith), Paula Carnes, Tommy Pollard Jr. (Peggy), Marlene Austin (Dave), Phyllis Vittitoe, Michael Nash (Lori), James Michael Ray (Deanna), Stephan Ray, Pamela Baxter, Timothy Ray, and Thomas Nash (Lori); 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Kenneth Emmons (Ann) and Jerry Emmons (Connie); sister, Diane Carnes (Randall); and her beloved dog, Lacey.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
