Patricia H. Harrington, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her home in Charlestown following a lengthy illness. She was 75 years old.
Patricia was born in Boston on October 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Nelson Harrington and Margaret (Dick) Harrington. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Girls High School in Boston. Patricia worked for many years as a clerk for Smith Companies LTD. She was a member of The Charlestown Historical Society.
Patricia is the beloved sister of William Wiles of Baltimore, Maryland and the late Robert Harrington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patricia's Funeral on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
