William J. “Billy” Falasca, 51 of Medford, died Friday July 13 unexpectedly.
Born in Stoneham, he was a life long resident of Medford and was the son of the late Louise (Mulcahy) and Harold Falasca. Billy was employed by National Grid as a Service Technician for 25 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Lebanon and Grenada Campaign from 1980 to 1986. Billy was a member of the Irish/American club in Malden and the American Legion Post 45 in Medford.
Beloved husband of Patricia (Marckini) Falasca. Devoted father of William Jr. and Brian both of Medford. Loving grandfather of Gina. Brother of Rosemarie Morey and her husband Jack, Harold Falasca and his wife Kathy, Diane Messina and her husband Ed all of Medford, Anna Capelli and her husband John of Melrose, Frank Falasca and his wife Susan of Peabody. Son in law of Eugene ad Helene Marckini of Medford, Brother in law of Jean Marie Bowen and her husband Ronald, Frank Marckini and his wife Darlene, Helen Roche and her husband Al, Diane Butler and her husband Stephen, John Marckini and his wife Susan, Anne Marie Marckini.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Interment will be private.
