William L. Tribble, age 65, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Water Valley, MS. He was born November 18, 1948 in Coffeeville, MS to the late William C. "Buddy" and Annie Inez Donaldson Tribble. William served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, was employed as an electrician for the U.S. Corp of Engineers and was the owner and operator of his business, Timeless Treasures, in Coffeeville, MS where he designed matting and frames for pictures, poems and treasured keepsakes. He was a member of VFW and an active member of First Baptist Church of Coffeeville. William was a die-hard Ole Miss fan, an avid outdoorsman and deer hunter and he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Coffeeville, MS. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville with Bro. Thad Moore, Dr. Rick Holloway, Bro. Truman Scarbrough and Bro. Daniel Hathorn officiating. Burial will be in the Coffeeville City Cemetery with Alton Pollen, Dale Potts, Chester Ayers, Chick Miller, Donald Gray and Allen Freer serving as pallbearers. John Daryl Tribble, Carter Brandon, Charles Jones, Hal Vaughn, Dennis Ward, Mack Burns, Larry Holloway and Kyle Holloway will serve as honorary pallbearers.
William is survived by his greatly beloved wife, Pamela H. Tribble of Coffeeville, MS; a daughter, Melanie Vanlandingham of Grenada, MS; a son, Scott Tribble (April) of Coffeeville, MS; three sisters; Shirley Carpenter of Horn Lake, MS, Peggy Bennett (Charles) of Coffeeville, MS, and Linda Gordon of Brandon, MS; five grandchildren, Allen Tribble, Luke Tribble, Shelley Vanlandingham, Ben Vanlandingham and Corey Vanlandingham and one great-grandson, Kayden Vanlandingham; a sister-in-law, Patricia Lyles of Gastonia, NC; two brothers-in law, Chris Holloway (Patsy) of Baldwyn, MS, Ricky Holloway (Frances) of Eupora, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
