Ernest W. "Ernie" Williams, 93, passed away Thursday July 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Filmore, KY to Algin & Lula (Fletcher) Williams. Ernest was a Pipefitter with Pipefitters Local # 522, for many years.
He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the Plumb Masonic Lodge # 862 F&AM. and he was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 76 years: Annie E. (Hazell) Williams; a Daughter: Janice Harper; 4 Grandchildren, Donna Leerkes (Fran), Marla Russell, Ann Schilling (Brian) and Hazel Russell; 3 Step Grandchildren: Gay Parker (Kenneth), Sharen Harper and Chester Harper (Becky); 15 Great Grandchildren, 11 Great Great Grandchildren and a half-Brother: Roy E. Stone (Jean).
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday (EST) at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
Visitation will be Saturday 2 - 8 pm.
