CHICOPEE – Judy A. (Godin) Vandini, 60, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on May 22, 1952, a beloved daughter of Norman and Rose (Paradis) Godin, both of Maine. She was raised and schooled in Enfield, Connecticut. She later moved to Agawam and has been a resident of Chicopee since 1989. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alan A. Vandini, who was Called Home on July 8, 2006. She leaves her devoted daughter, BonnieLee Reitz and her husband, Christopher; her cherished granddaughters, Felicia Vandini Reitz, Patricia Reitz and Morganne Reitz; her cherished great-granddaughter, Olivia Pagan; her dear brothers, Dale Godin and his wife, Sue, Larry Godin and his wife, May, Gary Godin and his wife, Karen, and Donald Godin, all of Maine; her dear sisters, Sandra Falk and her husband, Brian, of East Longmeadow, Diane Letalien and her husband, Henry, of New Hampshire, Bonnie Gauthier and her husband, Jim, and Brenda Bowie, all of Maine; and her many dear nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and many close friends. Her Committal Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA 01001. There are no visiting hours at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family has requested that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Massachusetts Affiliate, 89 South Street, Suite 406, Boston, MA 02111.
