Christina A. Luongo, a longtime resident of Medford, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Saturday morning, May 26, 2012. She was 62 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 5, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony R. and Caroline A. (Venezia) Luongo.
Christina was well loved and will be very sorely missed by her many friends.
She was the loving niece of Philomena Luongo of Medford and devoted sister of the late Elaine B. Ruffing.
Her funeral was held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 8 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, from 4 to 7 PM. Entombment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
