Evelyn Hilliard, of Fall River, passed away July 10th at the age of 91. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Franklyn S. Hunt and Annie E. (Driscoll) Hunt of Underwood St, Belmont. She was the widow of Richard F. “Dick” Hilliard of Everett. Evelyn loved to paint & spend time with her family. She trained as a commercial artist at the Massachusetts College of Art. With her husband, Dick, she created Cedar Crest Lapidary, designing and creating jewelry and later developing miniature art works for dollhouses. She continued to paint and draw throughout her life.
Evelyn leaves two children, Janet Knight (companion Albert Braga) of Fall River and Rich Hilliard (wife Karen Waldron) of Bar Harbor, ME. She leaves four grandchildren: Heather & William Knight, Richard and Nathaniel Hilliard of Bar Harbor, ME; & two great grandchildren: Elizabeth & Joshua Sicard.
Visitation for family & friends on MONDAY from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Interment with committal prayers in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 P.M.
