Fall River – Olga C. Jacintho, age 87, passed away at the Royal of Fairhaven on Monday July 10 , 2012. She was the wife of the late Abel D. Jacintho and the late Carlos A. Costa, Loved mother of Carlos G. Costa and his wife Nancy of Fairhaven, Paula Pond and her husband John of Fairhaven, Margie St. Jean and her fiancé John Gottlsleben of Tuscan, Arizona. She was also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Olga was the mother of the late David Jacintho, and stepmother of the late Abel Jacintho Jr.
Mrs Jacintho was the daughter of the late Lucinda (Coutinho) and Vicente Carreiro, she was born in St. Michael, Azores and has lived in this area since 1960.She worked at St. Lukes Hospital as a Home Health Aide. She enjoyed being with her family, traveling and playing classical music on her piano.
Mrs Jacintho’s Service to which relatives and friends are invited to will be celebrated on Thursday July 12 at 11:30 A.M., at St. John’s Cemetery inside the Chapel. Arrangements are thru the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford Ma.
