Eleanor L. Tamulaitis, 84, of Sandown, NH died Monday July 9, 2012 at the Lahey clinic in Burlington, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 16, 1927, a daughter of the late Harold and Mamie (Casey) York. Eleanor was born in Braintree, MA, raised in Somerville, MA and later moved to Sandown, NH in 1961 where she spent the last 51 years of her life. She took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John V. Tamulaitis of Sandown, one daughter, Donna Columb of Manchester, three grandchildren, Shauna, Kasey and Brittany, five great grandchildren, Nikolas, Xavier, Kayleigh, Rhyanna and Skylah, and three nieces, Judie, Gail and Shirley Ann.
Calling hours were held on Thursday July 12, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held on Friday July 13th at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Center Cemetery, Sandown.
