Tamasana Jayslin "Jasi" Gaither, age 3, died Sunday, July 8, 2012. She was born September 12, 2008 in Oxford, MS to Tamasana Kirk and Daryl Gaither. Jasi liked to dance, sing, and swim at the beach. Her favorite characters were Shrek, Sponge Bob and Dora and she loved going to school at Ms. Virginia's play-school.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Dan Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS with Mark Martin, Paxton Mullen, Steve Chism, Bubba Kirk, Larry Simmons and Kevin Gaither serving as pallbearers. Glen Melton, Patrick Parker and Quay Peacock will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Jasi is survived by her mother, Tamasana Kirk of Water Valley, MS; her father, Daryl Gaither (Teresa) of Grenada, MS; her grandparents, Betty and Drew Kirk (Paw and Nana) of Water Valley, MS and Maurice and Mildred Gaither (Mamaw and Papaw) of Water Valley, MS; her aunts and uncles, Deanna Kirk, Bubba Kirk and Melissa Self (Troy) all of Water Valley, MS, Dale (Lisa) Gaither of Oxford, MS and Eric Gaither of Cordova, TN.
