Obituary

Edward “Ronnie” Wedge, 73, of Williamson Ave., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, July 8, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Wedge was born on December 22, 1938 in Long Island, NY a son of Herbert and Veronica (Noon) Wedge.

At a young age he came to Berlin where he was raised and attended school and for 11 years he served with the US Army. In 1968 he began his career as a boiler maker and welder for Local 29 in Quincy, MA retiring in 1992. He enjoyed watching youth hockey, hunting and was a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

Family members include his wife Karen (Goodrich) Wedge of Berlin, his sons, Ronald Wedge of Berlin, Gary Wedge of Middleton, Gregory Wedge of Berlin and Michael Wedge of Berlin, a brother Russell Wedge of Gorham, two sisters Irene Laflamme of Milan and Louise Baillargeon of Dummer, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and a great grand puppy, Maggy Mae. He was predeceased by a grandchild Wyatt.


Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening July 12, from 6-8 PM. At the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM at St. Anne Church.
