HOWARD, VIRGINIA M. (KAVEY) “GINNY” of Andover formerly of Wayland died on June 29, 2012.
Born on November 11, 1930 the daughter of the late John J. Kavey and Viola E. (Narey) Kavey.
Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Howard who died in 1988. Loving mother of Kristen Howard of Andover. Mother-in-law of Ivy Krull of Andover. Devoted grandmother of Nolan and Baden Howard of Andover. Sister of Robert Kavey of Waltham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Former receptionist at the Pine Brook Country Club in Weston for many years. Ginny had the opportunity to travel the world with her late husband in the 1950’s and 1960’s. In 1968 they moved to Wayland with their daughter Kristen. After moving to Andover in 2008, Ginny became an active member of the Andover Senior Community where she worked as a greeter at the Andover Senior Center. Ginny leaves many dear friends behind and she wanted them to know that she is at peace.
Private family services at the Howard family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland will be held at their convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Ginny’s memory may be sent to The Emmaus House (Homeless Shelter) http://www.emmausinc.org.
