Ian Hamilton, 55, died unexpectedly on June 20th in Revere, MA. He was born of Helen (Carroll) and Thomas Hamilton in High Wycombe, England, grew up in the Tower Hill section of Lawrence, attended St Augustine Grammar School and Lawrence High School. He was a veteran, having served in the military. Ian struggled most of his life with an addiction at which he worked very hard to deal with. He took great pride in helping other veterans who deal with addictions, especially at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain.
He is survived by his sister Holly Court of Ft. Myers, Florida and a nephew Timothy Hamilton of Royalston, Vermont.
In addition to being predeceased by his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother, Jonathan and his sister, Candace.
His relatives and friends are invited to participate in a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 13th at 10:00 A.M. at St Augustine Chapel of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Lawrence.
