DARTMOUTH — Private services were held recently for Patricia C. "Patty" (Cormier) Taber who was a longtime resident of Shore Acres in South Dartmouth, and the wife of the late Richard D. Taber, a local investment broker.
Patty had not been in good health these last few years and died in Sterling Village, having spent her last few days with her sister.
She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Moise and Rebecca (Savoie) Cormier and was a life long resident of this area.
She is survived by her sisters, Geraldyne Schofield, of Sterling Village and Loraine Kelley (Mrs. Joseph), of Centerville; her niece Deardra Phillips (Mrs. Robert); and two great-nieces.
She was the sister of the late Edythe Cormier.
Remembrances may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
