Connie Wade West, age 53, died Sunday afternoon, July 8, 2012 in Lafayette County, MS. She was born December 23, 1958 in Water Valley, MS to the late R. T. "Jack" and Sally Few Wade. Connie was employed for many years as a Quality Technician for Borg-Warner and a member of First Christian Church in Water Valley, MS. She enjoyed reading, cooking and lived her life for her family, her children, her grandaughter, Layla and her beloved dog, Sadie.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. David Freeman and Bro. Furman Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley with Justin Thomas, Chad Varner, Pete Eubanks, Jimmy Eubanks, Mike Eubanks, Josh Eubanks, David Newman, and Daniel Thomas serving as pallbearers. Buddy Edwards, Joe Potts, Franze Nichol, Maulik Parikh and Jason Stallings will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Connie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Paul West of Water Valley, MS; her daughter, Jessica West Harwell (Jeremy) and her son, Kevin West all of Water Valley, MS; three sisters, Kay Newman (Arthur) of Bruce, MS; Vickie Johnson and Bonnie James (Kenneth) both of Water Valley, MS; her granddaughter, Layla Brooke Harwell of Water Valley, MS.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Craddock.
