Gonzalez, Ofelia C., “Tia Nana”, age 83 of Roslindale, July 6. Born April 22, 1929 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Beloved sister of Bertha Tablada, the late Ernesto Mendez, Inez Ventura, Irma Cambara, Adis Benitez, Raphael Cabrera. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Service for family and friends will be held on Sunday the 15th at 12:00 pm. to 2:00 p.m. at the Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street in West Roxbury, MA. A gathering for the family and close friends of Ofelia will be held at 2:30 p.m. at 9 Northdale Street in West Roxbury, MA following the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the St. Jude Research Hospital for Cancer Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
