Frank Alcione, a long-time Medford resident died Wednesday, at home. He was 90.
Born and raised in East Cambridge, he was the son of the late Antonio and the late Anna (DiNitto) Alcione. For many years Frank operated a service station in East Cambridge. He later joined the staff of Harvard University and worked there as a building manager.
He was the husband of the late Rose J. (Bettencourt). He was the devoted father of Anna Davis and her husband Russell of Maynard and Anthony F. Alcione and his companion Laura Walker of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 13. He was the brother of Ethel Alcione of Malden and Ray Alcione of Weymouth.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church, Medford, Monday. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Friends and relatives may visit Sunday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
