Madeline (Hinchey) Grace, 78, of Merrimack, died July 4, 2012. She was born in Everett MA, March 30, 1934, to Philip and Mary (Riggs) Hinchey.
Madeline was a graduate of St. Rose School in Chelsea MA in 1951. She met and married her husband Gerald in 1952. In 1956 they moved to NH where they made their home in various locations throughout southern NH.
In 1985 she received a BA in Human Services from NH College, and soon after began working as a substance counselor for the State of NH Parole Office. Madeline was instrumental and handling the needs of many clients over many years of service.
In her spare time she enjoyed the company of her children, grand children, and great grandchildren, as well as her beloved dogs Andy, and Maggie. For many years she traveled and camped throughout the country. She will also be remembered for her crocheting and creating award winning afghans.
Family members include her children, Gerald P. Grace, of Deerfield, Madeline Martin, of Milford, Rosemarie “Sissy” Gagnon, of MO; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. Burial will take place at the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway RTE, 3, Boscawen NH 03303. at the convenience of the family.
