Obituary

Hazel D. (Baker) Holzworth, 90, a life long resident of Halifax, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 in the loving embrace of her family. Her husband Robert F. Holzworth predeceased Hazel in 1987. Hazel is survived by her sister Edwina (Tootsie) Hennessey, and her four daughters, Sandra Rigo, Tangra Deyesso, Melo Spencer, and Robin Gilpatrick, all of Halifax. In addition Hazel leaves behind her 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, her best friend Scott, as well as many others who love her dearly.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 10th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt.14) Pembroke. A graveside service will be held at the MA National cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday, July 11th at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM prior to the graveside services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: MSPCA-Angell, ATTN: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 and/or The Christian Education Fund at the First Baptist Church Hanson, 214 Main Street, Hanson, MA 02341.
