Greenfield, Daniel “Danny”, 84 of Lake Worth, FL for 16 years and formerly of Cape Cod passed away on July 4, 2012 after a sudden illness. Danny was born in Boston and raised in Chelsea. He was a graduate of Chelsea High School. Danny received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He was the owner and operator of Shoes to Boot. Danny loved sports, bowling, golf, traveling. He took great pride in the biggest love of his life, his family and friends.
Danny was the beloved husband of Rita (Grossman). He was the devoted father of Nancy Lastoff and her husband Stanley, Debra Burgoon and her husband Gregory, Linda Cassidy and her husband John and Chari Bernten and her husband Jay. He was the loving son of the late Nathan and the late Anna Greenfield. Danny was the dear brother in law of Arthur Grossman and his wife Corinne. He was the loving grandfather of Matthew and his wife Jessica, Lindsay and her husband Mike, Ilan and his wife Hannah, Adina, Noah, Joshua, Kara, Brynn, Meghan, John and the late Jordana. He is also survived by his two great grandchildren, Charles and Gavin.
Graveside services will be held at the Linas Hatzedek #1 Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Donations in Danny’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
