Alfred Lott, Sr, age 80, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Southern Senior Living following an extended illness. Mr. Lott was born on September 30, 1931, in Broxton, GA to the late Donnie Lott and Rachael Merritt Lott.
Mr. Lott is survived by: his wife, Cloteal Hutto Lott, of Douglas, GA; one son, Alfred Lott, Jr., of Broxton, GA; three daughters, Brenda Lott Williamson, of Nicholls, GA, Pam Lott, of Douglas, GA and Mary Lynn Lott Harrison, of Douglas, GA; one grandchild, Kara Harrison, of Douglas, GA, three sisters, Rhoda Hunter, of Douglas, GA, Bonnie Thompson, of Douglas, GA, and Marie Lewis of Villa Rica, GA, one brother, Oswald Bud Lott, of Douglas, GA, and mother-in-law, Mrs. Duncan Hutto, of Douglas, GA. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Lott, two brothers, M.J. Lott and Johnny Lott, a sister, Mary Alice Hendry,and a grandson Micah Williamson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5 from 6-8 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 11 :00 a.m. at St Paul Catholic Church with Father Dan O’Connell and Father Nicholas Mansell officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.
