Josephine Korsun, 85, of Olyphant died Monday morning at home. She was married 59 years to Michael Korsun who died in May 2007.
Born in Olyphant to Vincenti and Sophie Migacz Flerianovicz, Josephine attended Olyphant High School and was a member of the Holy Cross Parish in Olyphant.
She was a devoted wife and enjoyed her evening walks with her husband.
Surviving are her caregivers; nieces, Mary Angela Korsun and Mary Catherine Korsun, sister-in-laws, Mary Korsun, Martha Dutka, and Pearl Flerianovicz; nieces, Carol Doohan and husband Barry, Mary Ann Korsun, Teresa Korsun; nephews, Michael Rook and wife Florence, Michael Korsun, Joseph Dutka, and David Dutka.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Rook and a brother, Stan Flerianovicz.
The funeral will be Friday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Delaware Ave., Olyphant. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends may call Friday morning in the funeral home from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M.
