Isaura (Leite) Oliveira, age 86, of Somerset, passed away July 2, 2012. She was the widow of Jose Oliveira. Born in Povocão, São Miguel, Açores, the daughter of the late Francisco Furtado Leite & the late Odelia (Melo) Leite. Isaura was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
Isaura was the mother of Fatima Cabral of Somerset, Jose Oliveira of Swansea, Ines Garcia, & Natalia Martins both of Somerset; 5 grandchildren: Charlene (Cabral) Gleason, Leslie (Oliveira) Buttrick, Pedro, Andre, & Daniel Martins; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Isaura was predeceased by several brothers & sisters.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Somerset at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
