Charlene Myrtle (Lowell) Rausch, 74, died peacefully in her home July 2, 2012 with her loving husband Robert Rausch present.
Charlene had a wonderful life, full of laughter, friends and family. She was born May 6, 1938, daughter of the late Charles Webster Lowell and Myrtle (Pugsley) Lowell in Waltham.
After graduating from Waltham High School in 1956, Charlene worked at Waltham Hospital for nearly twenty years before moving to Bolton, MA. In Bolton she worked part-time in the Nashoba Regional School District for over 25 years while caring for her family.
Charlene loved to garden, connect with family and friends and spend time at the ocean. Her kindness, sense of humor and generosity was felt by all that knew her well.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert Rausch; her daughter, Kimberly Rausch and her sister, Jessie Schoepfer. She lost her son Steven May 24, 1989 to a car accident.
Charlene’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the First Parish Church, 673 Main Street, Bolton, MA. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Bolton.
