Obituary

Flynn, Jeanne M. (Governor) of Quincy, passed away July 2, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late Albert D. Flynn. Loving mother of Pamela Rugnetta and her husband Phil of of Quincy, Richard Flynn of Hull, David Flynn and his wife Rosemary of Hull and Kenneth Flynn of Quincy. Loving sister of Richard Governor of TX, Kenneth Governor of NY and the late Arthur Governor. Cherished grandmother of Colleen Hooke, John O’Donnell, Linda Harris, Nicole, Ryan, Amanda and David Flynn. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her loyal canine companion “Izzy”.

Family was the central focus of Jeanne’s life. She was the ultimate mother who was involved in all her children's activities, especially the Cub Scout’s, and also took care of many of the neighborhood children. She had a passion for arts and crafts and was more than happy to design table centerpieces for many of her family and friends social functions. She was also a talented seamstress. The other love of her life was her work. She was an Administrative Assistant for 26 years at Boston Financial Data Services in Quincy, retiring at the age of 81. She had cultivated many loving, lifetime friends at the place she enjoyed going to work every day. Jeanne was friendly, youthful, and always willing to help people.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
