Obituary

BEVERLY: Pauline R. (Ouimette) Lewis, 92, died peacefully, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at her home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roderick E. Lewis who died in 2000.
Born in Danvers on July 1, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Amie and Lillian (LaBelle) Ouimette. A graduate of Danvers public schools, she had resided in Beverly since 1937.
Pauline was employed for many years at the former American Toy Factory in Beverly and The Hub in Salem. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Beverly.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Ralph and Dorothy Lewis of Beverly, Roger and Celeste Lewis of Acton, ME and Oveada (Wilson) Lewis of Beverly; one brother, David “Mickey” Ouimette of Danvers; one sister, Charlotte DeBie of Danvers; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two sons, Roderick Lewis, Jr. and Richard Lewis, a grandson, James Lewis, four sisters, Dorothy Yound, Fern Ouimette, Frances “Honey” Ouimette and Lorraine Larrabee and one brother, Pat Ouimette.
Her funeral services will be held on Friday in the North Beverly Cemetery, Cabot St. (Rt. 97) at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot St., Beverly from 4 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
