Richard D. Lyons, 77, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, formerly of Greenville, died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center-Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was the husband of Patricia (Glasheen) Lyons.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James J. Lyons, Jr. and Marion M. (McLinden) Lyons. He was an Army veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by his sisters in law: Mary O'Donnell Glasheen and Rosemary Glasheen Crimmins and her husband, Michael; six nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews, and a great, great niece and nephew.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10am in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Lincoln. Burial Private. Visitation respectfully omitted. Please omit flowers.
