Evans, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 1, 2012, Mrs. Terri Anne Jarrett Chavous, 68, wife of Mr. John Hobson Chavous, Jr.
Mrs. Chavous was a very active life member of St. James United Methodist Church. She was a substitute teacher for Richmond County schools. Mrs. Chavous was a pink lady for St. Joseph Hospital. She adored her grandchildren.
Family members in addition to her husband include: daughter: Shelli Chavous Phillips (Doug) of Martinez; son: Trey Chavous (Tracy) of Martinez; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and brother: Rusty Jarrett (Dianne).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra Leightner officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Frank Toole, Harold Mock, Ronald Anderson, Tom Ash, Lee Jones and Gary Richardson. Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Hookfin, Walker Norman, Smitty Prather, Billy Powell, Harrell Tiller, Bill Fulcher, Bill Coleman and Doug Reese.
