Lucille F.Thacker, 82, of Central Avenue, Johnston, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Miriam Hospital. She was the widow of Albert A. Thacker, Sr.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Bernadette (Careau) Fontaine. She had lived in Johnston for 57 years. She was a member of the Cranston YMCA.
She is survived by her son Steven P. Thacker and his wife Cynthia of Scituate, two grandchildren; Robin and Scott, a great granddaughter, Layla and two sisters, Jeannette Fontaine of Johnston and Doris Monti, of Washington. She was the mother of the late Albert A. Thacker, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston 02919. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation Friday 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Pantry.
