Raymond A. Guilmet age 81 of Salem, NH, died Saturday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He was a resident of Salem for the past 50 years.
Mr. Guilmet was Lieutenant of Security for Raytheon Corp. in Andover, MA. He was also a former Special Police Officer for the Town of Salem. He was a former member of Mary Queen of Peace Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Salem VFW Post 8546. He enjoyed playing cards, traveling and was an avid carpenter.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years:
