Amanda B. Awad, 30, of Londonderry, NH died Friday June 29, 2012 at her mother’s home in Londonderry surrounded by her loving family. Amanda was born in Waltham, MA on December 4, 1981, daughter of Maureen (Otowchits) Christilles and Glenn S. Lever. She was a graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2000, where she was very active in the Londonderry Lancer Marching Band, having performed in the first trip to the Rose Bowl. She received her Associates Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and was employed at Londonderry Nurse Practitioners Whole Health Consultants where she shared her love of holistic healing with the patients she greeted. Amanda enjoyed cooking and was very interested in organic and gluten free living. She especially loved raising and caring for her children.
She is survived by her husband, Peter R. Awad of Londonderry, her three children, Garrett Franks, Aliviyah Awad and Daphne Awad, all of Londonderry, her mother, Maureen Christilles and her husband James of Londonderry, her father, Glenn S. Lever and his wife Laura of Epping, NH, her brother, Gregory S. Lever of Ocean Springs, MS, her maternal grandmother, Frances Otowchits of Framingham, MA and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends gathered on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 9 – 11 am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 11:00 am in the Church. Burial followed in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Londonderry are handling arrangements.
